Srila Prabhupada: ”For God there is no discrimination. Women, men have equal rights to become godly and back to home, back to Godhead.” (Lecture on Srimad-Bhagavatam 5.5.2 – Johannesburg, January 22, 1975.)

Srila Prabhupada: : ”The spirit soul is equal in either a man or woman. One who is actually engaged in the service of Krishna, there is no such distinction as man or woman.” (Letter to Aditya, February 04, 1976)
———-
Srila Prabhupada: In the spiritual platform there is no such distinction, man, woman, or black, white, or big or small.
Woman: The women could become panditas, then?
Srila Prabhupada: Oh, yes. Te ’pi yänti paräm gatim. Not only come, she can also attain perfection. There is no such restriction. Krishna said.
Woman: Do you have any panditas in the Western movement?
Srila Prabhupada: There are so many Western woman, girls, in our society. They are chanting, dancing, taking to Krishna consciousness. Of course, because superficially, bodily, there is some distinction, so we keep women separately from men, that’s all. Otherwise, the rights are the same.” (Conversation, June 18, 1976, Toronto)

”There is no restriction for going back to home, back to Godhead, for anyone, and what to speak of man, woman—anyone . . . For God there is no discrimination. Women, men have equal rights to become godly and back to home, back to Godhead.” (Lecture on SB 5.5.2, Johannesburg, 22 Jan 1975)

”Regarding lecturing by woman devotees: I have informed you that in the service of the Lord there is no distinction of caste or creed, color, or sex. In the Bhagavad-gita, the Lord especially mentions that even a woman who has taken seriously is also destined to reach Him. We require a person who is in the knowledge of Krishna, that is the only qualification of a person speaking. It doesn’t matter what he is. Materially a woman may be less intelligent than a man, but spiritually there is no such distinction. Because spiritually everyone is pure soul. In the absolute plane there is no such gradation of higher and lower. If a woman can lecture nicely and to the point, we should hear her carefully. That is our philosophy. But if a man can speak better than a woman, the man should be given first preference. But even though a woman is less intelligent, a sincere soul should be given proper chance to speak, because we want so many preachers, both men and women.” (Letter to Jaya Govinda, February 8th 1968)

”Therefore in the bhakti platform, Kṛṣṇa consciousness, there is no such distinction, ”Here is American, here is an Indian, here is an African, here is this and that.” No. Everyone is Kṛṣṇa conscious. So actually if we want equality, fraternity, then we must come to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. This is the purpose of Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. And actually, it is becoming fact, factual. These boys and these girls, they are no more thinking that they are American or European or Canadian or Australian and Indian also. They are equal. So if you want equality, fraternity, friendship, love and perfection, solution of problems, all problems, economic, political, social, religious, then come to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Come to this platform. Then all your ambitions will be fulfilled and you will be perfect. Thank you very much. Hare Kṛṣṇa. (end)” (Lecture on Bhagavad-gita 13.4, Hyderabad, April 20, 1974)

”So far as girls or boys lecturing in the morning, that doesn’t make any difference. Either girl or boy devotees may deliver lecture if they choose to do. We have no such distinction of bodily designations, male or female. Krishna Consciousness is on the spiritual platform. As such, anyone who is a devotee of the Lord, following in this line of disciplic succession, can deliver lecture, on the teachings of Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, etc. (Letter to Syama Dasi, 1968, October 21, 1968)

”Regarding your questions about the examinations to be given, the girls will also be able to take these. In Krishna Consciousness there is no distinction between girls and boys. The girls also may become preachers if they are able.” (Letter to Himavati, 24 January, 1969)

”So far spiritual life is concerned, it does not depend on the material brain substance. It is different thing. It is spiritual platform. It has nothing to do with this bodily construction. You must remember. We don’t make any distinction that a man can be better Krsna consciousness than woman. No. A woman can be better Krsna consciousness, because they are very simple. They can accept any religious system. Generally the women, they accept it, because they are very simple. They have no crooked mind.” (Lecture on Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.2.6 – August 3, 1968, Montreal)

”It is clearly declared here by the Supreme Lord that in devotional service there is no distinction between the lower or higher classes of people. In the material conception of life, there are such divisions, but for a person engaged in transcendental devotional service to the Lord, there are not. Everyone is eligible for the supreme destination.” (Bhagavad-gita, 9.32, Purport)

”So far as the woman distributers who have left New York and Boston Temples and have gone to New Vrindaban, they should return immediately and resume their original service. In Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s Movement, everyone is preacher, whether man or woman it doesn’t matter.” (Letter to Karandhara, Bombay, October 6, 1973)

”The spirit soul is equal in either a man or woman. One who is actually engaged in the service of Krishna, there is no such distinction as man or woman. In the Bhagavad-gita, 6th Chapter, 1st Verse it is stated anasritah karma-phalam karijam karma karoti yah/ sa sannyasi ca yogi ca na niragnir na cakriyah [Bg. 6.1]. Anyone acting for Krishna, he is a sannyasi or sannyasini. It is also stated: striyo vaisyas tatha sudras te’pi yanti param gatim. So spiritually everyone is equal. But materially a woman cannot be given Sannyasa. But you should not be bothered because you are serving on the spiritual platform.” (Letter to Aditya, Mayapur, February 4, 1976)

”The actual system is that the husband is Spiritual Master to his wife, but if the wife can bring her husband into practicing this process, then it is all right that the husband accepts wife as Spiritual Master. Caitanya Mahaprabhu has said that anyone who knows the science of Krishna, that person should be accepted as Spiritual Master, regardless of any material so-called qualifications; such as rich or poor, man or woman, or brahmana or sudra.” (Letter to Silavati, New Vrindavan, June 14, 1969)

”An acarya who comes for the service of the Lord cannot be expected to conform to a stereotype, for he must find the ways and means by which Krishna consciousness may be spread. Sometimes jealous persons criticize the Krishna consciousness movement because it engages equally both boys and girls in distributing love of Godhead. … However, since both the boys and the girls are being trained to become preachers, those girls are not ordinary girls but are as good as their brothers who are preaching Krishna consciousness.” (Caitanya-caritamrta, Adi-lila 7.31-32, Purport)

”Now I see that in our Society the girls are more intelligent than the boys.” (Letter to Krishna Devi, 1970)
